Chairman’s Message

I, the Chairman of SDS Senior Secondary School & The Vector Academy, convey my heartiest greetings with great dignity to all of you on your entry into the premises of SDS Senior Secondary School, Farrukh Nagar, Gurugram — a renowned name in the field of education. I always try my level best to make the academy a centre of academic excellence, with the co-operation of my fully committed, hard-working, faithful, sincere and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members. I promise and assure all parents that I will look after, protect and help grow their children in the academy, so that success will always kiss their feet. Our academy is the best platform for ambitious people who have a strong desire to succeed, at any cost.

We take care of your wards as parents would. Your children are as safe in the academy as they are at home — our academy is your child's second home. We always develop a sense of optimism in the minds of the students, so that they can fulfil their aims in life positively. As there is no limit to knowledge, the sky is the limit for us.

We lead our students from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. We understand the value of the pen, which is mightier than any sword — knowledge is power. We empower our students with knowledge for a lifetime, because the treasure of knowledge can never be stolen by anyone, and so it holds more value than anything else in life. We always encourage our students to seek more knowledge, as it is a never-ending process that continues from birth to death. The moment we stop learning, we stop winning. Education is a lifetime investment that always pays a return, and ensures a bright future for our children and yours.

Since ours is an English-medium academy, our students possess excellent communication skills with fluency in English. We give no place to cramming — instead, we always encourage students to build a deep understanding of the subject matter. We take great care to finish the syllabus of every subject well in time, so that students have sufficient time for revision and recapitulation. Without discipline, a human being is like an animal, so we remain vigilant about it and do not tolerate anyone breaching discipline in the academy. Discipline can never be enforced, as it must come from within — so we always motivate our students to stay disciplined and to follow the rules and regulations of the academy.

Our academy is an epitome of creativity for both students and teachers. We are never afraid of trying new things — we believe in being path-creators, not path-followers. Our teachers remain constantly updated by attending frequent workshops, both inside and outside the academy, as they are the builders of the nation and its future generations. They are not only providers of knowledge but place equal emphasis on value-based education, going beyond teaching to support the all-round development of every student.

There is no question of compromise on the quality of education at our institution. Judgement is always impartial and fair, without any form of discrimination, and we inspire our students to approach every activity and assignment with full enthusiasm, curiosity and perfection, so that the results are always positive and excellent.

We remain attentive to the good manners and etiquette of our students, and instil in them the emotions and sentiments of universal brotherhood, respect, love, kindness, co-operation, compassion, commitment and sympathy, in place of anger, ego, lethargy and hatred. We give full attention to the personality development of our students, enabling them to respond quickly, accurately and positively to everyone and every situation, and to be prepared for today's competitive world — from Sainik School and Military School exams to JNV, KVS, Olympiads in Mathematics and Science, NTSE, JEE Main and Advanced, NEET and NDA.

Finally, I pray to God for the well-being, prosperity, and long, successful and happy lives of all the students, parents, staff members and everyone associated with The Vector Academy, in any manner.
